Quang Ngai Agricultural Products and FoodStuff Joint Stock Company (APFCO) was established in 2003 on the basis of equitization of SOEs Quang Ngai Agricultural Products Company. In which, APFCO is the leading company in the field of manufacturing and trading cassava starch and modified tapioca starch.

APFCO has used seperated accounting, warehouse,... management software to manage production and business activities nationwide.
However, due to the scale of operating 15 factories spread in many different locations, APFCO has difficulties in capturing information and updating data to make timely business decisions.
Approval of requests such as purchasing, sales, production and warehousing plans was delayed.
APFCO need a solution to integrate purchasing/sales, inventory, operations, finance activities,... into a single system, helping to optimize and standardize processes and centralize data processing.
Solutions
After surveying and evaluating the business procedures as well as the scale of APFCO, CMC consulted on the application of SAP Business One (SAP B1) solution for the company office and 15 factories. SAP B1 is a reasonable investment costs solution which has suitable modules for manufacturing companies; especially with complex and large-scale management processes like APFCO. In order to build the most user-friendly solution for Vietnamese users, CMC has completely Vietnameseized the SAP B1 system.
