MES Solution

Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is an information system that connects, monitors, and controls production systems and complex data flows within a factory. The primary goal of MES is to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing operations and to improve labor productivity.

MES collects data related to production processes, performance, traceability, material management, work-in-progress, and other factory activities. This data enables decision-makers to understand the current production status and better optimize manufacturing processes.

  • Production Scheduling: MES establishes the production schedule based on the production plan received from the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
  • Real-time Production Management: MES collects and updates all production process data in real time. By connecting to IoT platforms, the system manages data such as machine downtime, machine operating time, production quantity, and output volume.Quality Management: A key advantage of MES is that it allows users to define quality standards for raw materials, finished goods, and semi-finished products. It also enables the creation of sampling procedures, evaluation of test results, and corrective actions based on different result levels. Sampling can be carried out at any stage of the production process. All quality information is stored in the software to support quality reporting or product batch traceability. Product quality information is stored and processed in a single database (alongside data from other operational processes), making it easier for businesses to generate quality reports and trace information when needed.
  • Traceability Management: MES transforms product information into QR codes/barcodes. When product traceability is required, users can simply use compatible scanning tools. The traceability function enables users to look up all information related to the manufacturer, product components, expiration dates, distributors, etc., providing comprehensive visibility across the supply chain.
  • Maintenance Planning: By managing machine data, MES automatically issues maintenance and service alerts when necessary, helping to reduce production downtime and improve factory efficiency.
  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Analysis: MES collects data to measure machine performance based on three key factors: A-Q-P (Availability, Quality, and Performance). This helps identify areas for improvement. MES assists in refining plant operations - any arising issues or inefficient processes can be detected, allowing users to propose suitable improvement measures.
