April 3, 2024 marks a significant milestone in CMC Telecom's digital transformation journey with the official go-live of the SAP S/4 HANA system. This project is also a testament to the consulting capabilities and implementation of SAP ERP solutions by CMC Consulting, as well as the strategic vision of both companies.
Established in 2008, CMC Telecom is the fourth largest provider of telecommunication and information technology services in Vietnam. With the vision of becoming a leading telecommunications company in Vietnam and the region, CMC Telecom recognizes the crucial role of applying technology in its management operations. The company aims to replace its old system with a comprehensive SAP S/4 HANA solution, aiming to optimize processes, enhance management efficiency, and drive sustainable development.
Initiated on July 27, 2023, after more than 8 months of implementation, the SAP S/4 HANA project officially went live at CMC Telecom on April 3, 2024, completing 9 modules with 89 developed functions and configuring the entire standard system with 201 functions. This milestone represents the realization of the efforts of both companies and brings about numerous practical benefits. Specifically, the project helps synchronize financial management, budget management, investment procurement, and asset management on a common platform, aiming for enterprise management according to CMC Telecom's digital transformation model. The nine SAP S/4 HANA modules were deployed and integrated with CMC Telecom's existing systems, creating a unified and complete system. This new system enables centralized financial management, including budgeting, cash, costs, materials, and assets, while standardizing data organization between modules, reducing operational time, improving and systematizing processes, financial reporting operations, and contributing to timely decision-making support.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Son, CEO of CMC Consulting, stated at the ceremony: Initially, the implementation of the SAP S/4 HANA system for CMC Telecom faced numerous challenges and difficulties. The enormous workload and accelerated schedule posed many obstacles to the implementation, and fluctuations in personnel and operational difficulties further complicated the project. There were times when the project team wanted to give up and temporarily suspend the project. However, with determination and unity, CMC Consulting turned these challenges into opportunities to demonstrate its capabilities. Through efforts to overcome difficulties, CMC Consulting successfully completed the project on schedule and achieved high effectiveness. This success demonstrates the professional consulting and implementation capabilities of CMC Consulting in SAP ERP solutions, while building trust, reputation, and affirming the company's position in the digital transformation field.

After many difficulties and the persistent efforts of the deployment team, the SAP S/4 HANA project for CMC Telecom has been officially put into operation, opening up a new chapter in the company's management work.
