On May 15, 2026, at Aluko Group's offices, CMC Consulting and Aluko Group successfully held the kickoff ceremony for the SAP S/4HANA FICO Rollout Project in the United States, marking the beginning of a significant journey to extend Aluko Group's SAP ecosystem from Vietnam to its AMA manufacturing facility in the United States.
Expanding the SAP System from Vietnam to the United States Comes with More than Technical Challenges
Rolling out an SAP system to another country involves much more than replicating an existing setup. This is especially true for SAP, the backbone of financial operations and enterprise management, where every rollout demands a high degree of alignment across processes, people, and on-the-ground realities in each new market.
For Aluko Group, the ambition behind this project goes beyond just deploying SAP S/4HANA FICO at a new location. The goal is to build a system that fully inherits the operational processes already in place in Vietnam while adapting seamlessly to the unique business environment of the U.S. market. That dual mandate set a high bar for the implementation partner on several fronts.
On one hand, the team needs an in-depth understanding of the existing SAP landscape in Vietnam to ensure consistency across data, workflows, and financial reporting. On the other hand, they must be capable of working directly on-site at the USA facility to swiftly address issues as they arise during live operations.
The 12-hour time difference between Vietnam and the USA also added another layer of complexity to project coordination, communication, and ongoing user support throughout the implementation journey.

During the kick-off ceremony, Mr. Park Daeyu, Managing Director & AMA Plant Manager of Aluko Group, shared his expectations for the project to be implemented on schedule while maintaining operational consistency between Vietnam and the AMA factory in the United States.
He also emphasized that the project is expected to become an important foundation for Aluko Group’s efforts to extend its SAP operations internationally and support the company’s long-term expansion strategy in the U.S. market. Mr. Park highly appreciated CMC Consulting’s SAP implementation experience, especially the company’s ability to coordinate effectively between onsite and offshore teams in an environment that requires continuous communication across different countries and time zones.
