Haitian International is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plastic injection molding machines, with a global presence and a strong commitment to innovation and efficiency. In Vietnam, the company operates through its subsidiary, Huayuan Vietnam Co., Ltd., founded in 2010 and located in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park II (VSIP II), Bình Dương province. Specializing in the production and assembly of high-performance plastic injection machines, Huayuan plays a critical role in supporting Haitian’s presence in Southeast Asia.

Staff Augmentation Support

The Challenge

As part of its strategy to expand production capacity and optimize operational processes in Vietnam,it required a reliable local partner capable of providing experienced SAP consultants through a staff augmentation model, particularly to support complex localization tasks within the Vietnamese regulatory environment.
These included the need to validate and align the local chart of accounts (COA) with Vietnamese naming conventions and reporting structures, ensure compliance with all minimum required financial statements and VAS (Vietnam Accounting Standards) reports, and conduct rigorous testing and validation across all configurations.
Haitian required consultants who not only had deep SAP functional knowledge but also practical experience with Vietnamese accounting standards and localization requirements.

The Solution

CMC Consulting was selected to support this project through staff augmentation services, providing expert SAP consultants to work directly with the Haitian implementation team. Our consultants led the validation and customization of the chart of accounts, ensured the inclusion of mandatory financial statements and VAS reports, and supported testing and system validation activities. The team also worked closely with the client to ensure alignment between local and global reporting requirements, contributing technical expertise and localized insight throughout the process.
